Location Information

The Tabi mobile app requests access to your device's location. Granting location access is optional, and you can use the app without it, though location-based features will be unavailable or less accurate.

We use your location in two ways:

• While you are using the app — to show your position on the map, surface places near you, measure how far saved places are from you, and help you navigate to them.
• In the background — if you enable proximity alerts, the app monitors your location while it is closed so it can notify you when you are near a place you saved. This is optional and can be turned off at any time.

When you use location-based features, your coordinates are sent to our servers to return nearby results, and they may be recorded as part of your session and diagnostic data. The matching that powers proximity alerts is performed on your device; we do not build or retain a continuous history of your movements, and we do not sell your location data or use it for advertising.

You can grant, limit, or revoke location access at any time in your device's system settings, or from the permissions screen inside the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Notify you when Tabi is ready for use
• Send you important updates about the service
• Provide customer support if needed
• Show places near you, calculate distances, and power maps and navigation
• Send proximity alerts when you are near a place you saved, if you enable them
